This may come as a surprise to India's experimental Gen Y male on the lookout for casual relationships. A new study is about to prove their worst nightmare. The culprit is a certain Professor Anne Campbell from Durham University in the UK, who has discovered in her research that women aren't actually too kicked about one-night stands. What's more, they actually feel bad once they have indulged in such short affairs.
In fact, women will only consider hooking up with a guy if they have reason to believe that they can settle down together peacefully for a long, long time.
The reason for women feeling this way is that they value quality more than quantity. In other words, they are more driven by the genetic quality of their partners and won't settle for just any old guy. They want to choose their partners with care.
So guys, make sure you catch up with all those books you threw aside when your mom sat you at her loving knee and tried to impart to you the basics of life.
And women, if you don't agree with me... well, these are not my views. You'll have to take it up with Ms. Campbell.

well, its true, more or less. im no scientist but i guess a one night stand is not really about 'love' its about the sexual needs of someone . and i guess women dont really indulge in a one night stand only for sex but they also have to be attracted t o that man in a whatever way (which is enough of a reason to think that they might have a potential winner)...well i hope i made sense

Strange, but why does is their discrimination on the name of gender, sex or any of the singling out topics. I feel its not dependant upon Men or Women, but its something to do with what ethics one has. Sooner or later the day of realization comes in life, so its better to be careful when one has a seventh sense of seeing-hearing-smelling of what is right and wrong. Its beneficial to use it. I am on the side of people supporting that one cannot make love to anyone they don't LOVE.
P.S. Its much more spiritual and amazing to make love to a person you really LOVE. :)

Ashish, Ms. Campbell will be most grateful for your vote... :-)
Chanda, yes, you have to love someone to make love...
Robyn, you do make sense, but still sound confused... Lol. Still, I got your point.
Ronith, select the girl who wants more than just one-night stands.
And Abhi, thanks for bringing in the spiritual angle... we were missing that... :-)

I WONDER HOW NO ONE WROTE THIS B4 ME!!!
but isn't this a very common line...................women need reason ,men just need a place.......
ok f9 prem , i m nt biased.....ofcourse there are exceptional men & exceptional women for that matter,
& it does sepend on the kind of person,
but the general view goes this way.....men r always ready and eager!!(ripley's believe it or not...lol)
i repeat wots already said.....love is nt necessary(attraction is) to make love BUT
ofcourse it cant be compared where love is in the air!!!! for thats way too gr8......n spiritual as said.....:):):)
