Revenge of the blondes?

On the contrary, an association of blonde women from Latvia decided to be proactive about spreading cheer to their tiny recession-hit country.

The Go Blonde weekend last month had everyone going ga-ga with more than 500 blondes parading through Riga, the Latvian capital.

The country may have made projections of an 18 percent shrinkage of the economy but with spirited blondes around, surely there's still reason to smile.

Blondes Bring Sexy Back
