Anthony is a high school teacher from New Jersey, USA, who's about to marry a gorgeous NYC actress. Here's how he did it."In the past, I had definitely lost out on landing the 'hot' chick. Plenty of women go after the guy who looks good, so they'd pick the macho guy over me. After a few dates and realising he's not right, they dump the macho guy, then go back and pick out the exact same type of wrong guy. It's a brutal cycle.

"Because I felt like I was up against that, for a long time I hated dating, but I made myself go out at least once a week. As time went on, I felt more and more confident. I also found that I got a better response from women when they saw my 'real' and 'softer side.' When I met Christina, I remember telling her how my godson was my best pal, and that got me in the door.
"Of course she was hot, but I tried to focus on having good conversation instead of paying that much attention. So many men base things on the physical and ignore that women judge based on how they feel when they're around the man. I think Christina realised I was different because I never put on an act. I just enjoyed spending time with her and was honest about who I was.
"You don't have to be Mr. Tuff guy to get the girl, you just need class and character. What I believe a woman needs -- even a hot one -- is a heart. The size of a man's heart is what really is cool. Most guys try that macho approach and wind up looking like tools."
