Bad hair days. Heard of 'em? Sure you have! What about a bad hair salon day? Of course you've had that too! So everyone (that we know at least!) hates walking out of a salon with the wrong hairdo. The fact that you actually paid someone for making you look bad, hurts, no? Pretty bad!

But what if your original hairdo is your signature? A change won't go down so well now, would it? Especially if you are a public figure. Ask Raosaheb Jaywant Antapurkar. Who? A member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, he was famous for his curls. They were his identity. Until he went to the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower for a Rs 3,600 makeover! The new hairdo was great, mind you. But everything went wrong for Antapurkar after this!

Once he cleaned up, his new look only drew blank faces as his own party workers and senior leaders failed to recognize him. Revealing the stunned reaction of the party members, a Congress worker said, "When he came out of the hotel, supporters waiting outside for him failed to recognise him, and so did his driver. Antapurkar had to tell them who he was."

The radical transformation also took Chief Minister Ashok Chavan by surprise who was equally puzzled on seeing his "clean" associate at his official residence.

But what about his passport or driver's license? How does he prove he is still himself? Surely a few 'foreign tours' beckon now that he's an MLA... that could be a tricky one especially outside India!
