In our pursuit to find great blogs based out of India or written by Indians, we are amazed by the talent and creative work that exists online. We've been on a month long break, but we are back with a great selection of blogs! In case you missed our last few selections, we found a great source for desi celebrity gossip; a site dedicated to the Hakka Chinese community and a vegetarian food blog made all the more appealing thanks to good photography.

Want to get in on all the hot 'Page 3' action from Mumbai? Well, it's no Zoom but if you want one girl's take on who's hot and who's not, check out missmalini.com. Started by Malini Agarwal, an RJ at Mumbai's Radio One 94.3FM, missmalini.com started out last year with a few posts a month but now steadily averages 50-60 posts monthly. From her tribulations on what to wear for a night out to what it was like experiencing 26/11, Malini dwells on a lot of what its like being a Mumbaikar. Well, a Mumbaikar who gets to attend a lot of parties and events! Event coverage with tons of photos and even videos taken on her trusty Flip camcorder, this blog is one that will surely leave you with a guilty sense of addiction, especially if you are one who obsesses over the Page 3 glitterati.




Aamir Khan
How many bloggers do you know whose posts can get over a 1000 comments on a regular basis? Very, very few right? Aaamir Khan is one of those few. But what else did you expect from one of the biggest and most popular stars in Indian cinema? Started in October 2007, Aamirkhan.com is (needless to say) the actor's official website/blog. Busy as he can be and the consummate professional that he is, a lot of Aamir's blog posts center around the films he's working on -- be they the ones he's starring in or even the ones he's producing. From rants on cricket matches to wishing everyone on festive occassions, if you love Aamir Khan and his work, you'll love his blog. An Indian Muslim
Run by 34-year-old 'indscribe,' anindianmuslim.com is a blog dedicated to Islam as a religion -- from how it's often portrayed in the media (Indian and foreign) to the challenges it faces in the current atmosphere (here in India and abroad). Now, before one gets judgmental and presumes this site solely exists to praise Islam with quotes from the Holy Quran, let us make it very clear -- the blogger considers himself to be "secular and a humanist". And it shows. Be it history, facts or hot debates, An Indian Muslim is worth checking out just to know how a proud Indian muslim feels about being one in our multi-cultural country.
